The Probate Courts Department serve as the clerk for the court of
the four Probate Courts in Harris County. As clerk of the probate
courts this department is responsible for maintaining the case records
for probated estates, incapacitated persons, mentally ill persons,
wills for safe keeping and custodian for funds held for the behalf
of minors. The department is located in the:

The
office hours are 8:00 to 4:30, Monday through Friday. The main number
for the department is (713) 755-6425. There is a late filing drop
box located on the outside wall (to the left of the front entrance)
of the County Civil Courthouse Building.
